Stun Gun Laws by State 2022 (Legal in 48 of 50 states – not in Hawaii or Rhode Island. In most states, you do not need a permit for a stun gun.
These states require a concealed carry permit: Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, New Mexico, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
